As of November 9, 2009

Today I was working on taking the video from my intro and my action plan. Im so nervous because Im really scared to present and from watching the video from my action plan I know that my presentation skills are very weak and i need to practice more on them. In class we got to pick the time we wanted to present and mine is at 10:00. I'm kind of happy I have a morning spot so I can just get it out the way, but at the same time it's less time I have to practice. I have a little more to do with my presentation and fix my video up a little more. But I have faith that I will do well and hopefully score an A or B.

I'm so ready for this gradproject to be over. I'm getting the papers together for my action. I'm a little behind but I'll get it together.

Ms. Arenth and I disscussed a few ideas for an action plan. I'm going too look further into it.

more stress

I'm just so ready to be done with this project it's just so frustrating anymore because I can't find anyone too interview. And I just want to hurry and get this over with!

This week I found another email address for the person I would like to interview, hopefully i hear back from them. Other things I have been doing is gathering notes to start my paper.

Stress is back!

This week I've been going through my check list and trying to get caught up and back in focus with school. Over the weekend I plan to get whatever I don't get finished done.

Work Work Work

I am currently working on my outline and gathering all the notes that I have found from books and websites. I still have to catch up on some work from the past before I switched my project over. So I have been busy in class trying to get done.

Notes!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I am gathering notes from the books I got at the library. I am finding interesting notes and facts in the books. I think that for my action plan I am going to create a documentary.

Dead Ends on ALL!!!!!! Roads!!!!

I am still trying to figure out what to do for an action plan because I keep hitting dead ends everytime I think I am going somewhere. I now brainstorming thinking of at least five extra back up action plans so if one fails I have more to back up on, thats something I should have did in the begining.

Today and the rest of this week I am looking over the different artilces and other information I have and getting notes from them. I am also adding to my webliography as I read come to different sites.

Thinking of action B and C

I still need to find out what I am going to do for my action plan because the people I was trying to get in contact with never emailed me back, so now I am thinking of a plan B. and C. action plan.

I have tried to get in contact with someone who has a local organization in Piitsburgh. I haven't had much luck yet, but I will see what happens next week.

Something NEW!

I have switched my topic over to Human Trafficking and Child Prostitution. I wanted to switch my topic because I think that this is a really good topic and it should be recognized more than it is now. I also choose to switch my topic because I found that two other classmates were doing the same exact project.

Today I finally post my key terms on my blog. My key terms are words that i have came across while reading about my topic that I thought would be important for readers interested in the topic to know. As i continue to follow up more about my topic I will certainly add more key terms that i come across.

In the past couple of days I have been looking at more websites about my topic and I have also found some key terms that happen to be important to my topic. I will be putting some of the key terms i have found in a list soon.

I have found my essential question and three websites that have allot of information about it. now I am going to look for more websites and terms to better describe the bigger question for my project.

This is week two in class and I am currently researching articles about the effects of sexual abuse in teens and young children. I found a couple intresting articles so far but I am still searching for more. I am hoping to keep this as my topic after I narrow it down a little more. I believe that this topic would really hold my intrest and I think that there is many things I can do with different organizations to help the people who have suffered sexual abuse.

Thinking of the start of the "Big Project"

I have heard many things about City High's graduation project. Some said it was somewhat easy, while others thought it was the hardest thing they have seen yet. For my grad project i had several ideas of what i would like to do. Some of my idea subjects were fashion design, nursing, child abuse, sexual abuse,and also different family structures. Some of the concerns i have about my project is picking the one i would like to do the most.
